Eravikulam National Park

Apart from the Kurinji trail in the grasslands, there are plenty of interesting spots in and around Eravikulam Park

The Eravikulam National Park, also known as Rajamalai Wildlife Sanctuary, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Home to plenty of flora and fauna, Eravikulam Park offers a variety of activities other than wildlife expeditions.

The Anamudi Peak, the tallest in all of South India is visible from here. The Nilgiri Tahr, once a critically endangered animal, today roams the park's grounds as this habitat has provided it with a safe haven since 1975. Elephants, Nilgiri langurs, Nilgiri martens, the largest moth in the world, lion-tailed macaques and small-clawed otters can be spotted here. Eravikulam National Park makes it possible for guests to have a look at the inhabitants of the wilderness up close.
